Why Home Food Production Matters to Me
My interest in home food production started in the Fall of 2015 when I visited the World Expo in Milan while studying abroad there. The concept of the Expo was "Feeding the Planet - Energy for Life". As a 20 year old student, I'd never actually thought about the importance of this concept, but it sparked my curiosity. I was inspired me to shop local and learn more to prepare myself to grow fruits and vegetables at home myself. Upon my return to the United States, I decided to take a class completely dedicated to home food production practices and am looking forward to learning all about it!
